Ryan Begin, Feed Resource Recovery
Ryan Begin is the CEO of Feed Resource Recovery (FEED), a start-up company that is focused on changing the way commercial retailers manage waste. Ryan joined the company at it's inception in 2007 and continues to help drive innovation and commercialization of FEED's products and services. Prior to joining FEED, Ryan refined his product development background at Raytheon, where he led a multi-disciplined team of engineers in the integration of advanced missile defense hardware. Before Raytheon, Ryan was a systems engineer at Proton Energy Systems, a leader in distributed hydrogen generators, and worked to bring Proton's largest hydrogen generator from concept to commercialization. He has worked on multiple renewable energy and non-energy products through Clarkson University and private organizations. Ryan has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Wayne Davis, Harvest Power
Wayne Davis is a Co-Founder of Harvest Power Inc. and Vice President for Government and Regulatory Affairs. He leads Harvest’s public policy efforts and oversees the company’s environmental efforts. Mr. Davis is past Chairman of the Board of the American Biogas Council, a 200+ member organization promoting anaerobic digestion and the biogas industry. He also helped organize and is a founding member of various stakeholder groups including the Bioenergy Association of California, the New York Biogas Study Group, and the Recycle First Coalition in British Columbia. Before joining Harvest, Wayne was co-founder and General Counsel of Backyard Farms, LLC of Madison, Maine and Chief Compliance Officer for Fidelity Brokerage Company. Wayne graduated from both Harvard Law School and Williams College.
Tom Yeransian, CommonWealth Resource Management Corporation
Thomas Yeransian is a principal and a founder of CommonWealth Resource Management Corporation, a management and environmental consulting firm focusing on issues and opportunities related to resource conservation, recovery and utilization. Founded in 1991, CommonWealth is also a developer of renewable energy and environmental projects on its own and through strategic partnerships. With over thirty years of professional experience as a project developer and consultant, Mr. Yeransian manages the development, licensing, engineering and operation of projects in the areas of solid waste management, renewable power generation, and anaerobic digestion. Mr. Yeransian has bachelors’ degrees in chemical engineering and economics from Tufts University and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College.
