2019 MassRecycle Board of Director Elections
In September, MassRecycle will be holding our member voting on Board of Director renewals. In order to vote on the Board of Directors, one needs to be a MassRecycle member in good standing by midnight of September 8th. We encourage every individual or organization who cares about recycling in Massachusetts to become a member. We rely on supporters like you to carry out our mission!
Remember –every municipality has two designated representatives as members, thanks to the generosity and support of MassDEP. Businesses and non-profits organizations may choose to have more than one representative: this can be done by signing up now as a member organization and adding representatives. (If you have questions, reach out to MRExDir@MassRecycle.org)
Existing members will get an email with instructions on how to vote.
Learn about our candidates:
John Fantasia, Sales & Business Development, Re-Stream, MassRecycle Board Member: As a member of the MassRecycle Board I will continue my quest to provide more efficient recycling programs for the commercial industry. Having 27 years of experience in the industry, I know I can be an asset to the Board as well as learn more effective ways of recycling.
Gretchen Carey, Recycling Coordinator, Republic Services, MassRecycle President: As a former volunteer, municipal Recycling Coordinator, and RC at Republic Services, I see what is happening in the sustainability world from a variety of angles. I believe the current challenges are opportunities to improve recycling and educate the people who want to support it. I love finding the win-win, and am certain we can do more by working together. The MassRecycle Board is the best way for *me* to make a difference!
